Accommodation overview: Buddleia is a fabulous, well-furnished, modern holiday property of very generous size, superbly suited to a large family for summer holidays and family gatherings year-round. The owners have renovated it to a high standard to create a wonderful, detached home which is situated in the village of West Charleton, between the riverside town of Kingsbridge and the wide expanse of beach at Slapton Sands, on the South Devon Coast. The house itself has its own private gated driveway and a large, enclosed, level, lawned garden - very secluded and south facing. Skirting the rear of the property is a large decked area with glass balustrade, table (seats 12) and steps down to the lawn. To the front is a small pebble Mediterranean-style patio area. This is a very family-friendly holiday home; the large kitchen/dining room forms the main hub of the house and - with its large breakfast bar and bar stools - creates a good social area for cooking, chatting and dining. The separate living room features a 42in plasma TV and wood-burning stove - ideal for cosy nights in during autumn and winter; in summer the large French doors can open up onto the decking.
