The owners have renovated it to a high standard to create a wonderful, detached home which is situated in the village of West Charleton, between the riverside town of Kingsbridge and the wide expanse of beach at Slapton Sands, on the South Devon Coast. The house itself has its own private gated driveway and a large, enclosed, level, lawned garden - very secluded and south facing. Exeter with its cathedral is magnificent and well worth a visit, take in the shops or wander down to the canal and take a boat up to the pubs that cannot be reached by car, or for the more energetic, hire a bike and cycle the route instead. For children there is Crealy Adventure Park which is a great day out. For walkers who want to walk the Jurassic Coast, this is a great base as Sidmouth is just 28 miles away. Take in Seaton, Beer, Lyme Regis and Branscombe. Shops 3 miles, pub 1 mile.
