The location of this house cannot be beaten, just yards from the beach and a minute or two’s walk from the town. Aldeburgh has a host of individual shops to browse, numerous high quality restaurants, traditional public houses, an independent cinema and award-winning fish and chip shops, all within easy walking distance.
With its golf course, tennis courts, sea and river sailing the town has something for everyone. Noted for its association with the composer Benjamin Britten, Aldeburgh was the backdrop for many of his operas. Close by is the world famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall where the annual Music and Arts Festival is held.
Lovely strolls along the beach or beach path can be enjoyed as well as picturesque drives to other towns and villages of interest including Thorpeness, Walberswick, Dunwich, Orford, Southwold and Woodbridge.
