Occupying an idyllic secluded position, this spacious, partly moated detached farmhouse is an ideal holiday venue for a family celebration or get together with friends. Very well equipped and furnished, Grove Farm is situated in the middle of 120 acres of arable farmland and enjoys a peaceful setting where guests can walk in the large grounds or enjoy a relaxing dip in the hot tub. With a wealth of exposed beams, wide oak floorboards there is a warm welcome all year round with wood-burning stove in the kitchen and multi-fuel burner in the living room, whilst the stunning master bedroom suite has French doors onto a decked sun terrace. Located in an excellent area for walking, golf, cycling and bird watching, local footpaths abound. The well served village of Mendlesham has two picturesque village greens, many historic and interesting buildings, two pubs, a village store and a fish and chip shop. Mendlesham also has an annual May Day Bank holiday street fair. Situated right in the heart of Suffolk, there are many picturesque towns and villages to visit within an easy drive including Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Diss, Eye, Debenham, Lavenham and Long Melford, all with an interesting range of shops, restaurants, amenities and attractions. Also convenient for the Suffolk Heritage coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, the ancient burial ground at Sutton Hoo (NT) and Stonham Barns.
