Enjoy some lovely walks direct from the cottage, fish for trout and salmon on the estate's section of the River Tavy or you may also wish to try your hand at falconry which can be arranged onsite through the owners. Alternatively, just relax by the Willsworthy Brook in the secluded woodland garden exclusive for guests use. Nearby is the award winning market town of Tavistock with its famous market, shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches on the south coasts of Devon and Cornwall are easily reached. Nearby attractions include Lydford Gorge, Castle Drogo and historic Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican and National Marine Aquarium. Leisure facilities: guests are welcome to fish for trout and salmon on the property's section of the River Tavy. Try your hand at falconry which can be arranged onsite through the owners. Stabling: horses are welcome as the estate also has a working livery yard. The accommodation is finished to an extremely high standard with all rooms having a delightful countryside view.
