The Oast House lies 1 mile from the pretty village of Sedlescombe. This is excellent walking territory, and a peaceful stroll can be enjoyed around the meandering Powdermill Reservoir. The property is situated in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in a valley to the north of the River Brede providing a rich mosaic of habitats – where deer, badgers and of course foxes can be spotted. It is also renowned for its good fishing.
