It has its own secluded decked verandah facing due south. The lake offers the opportunity to catch carp, roach and perch (the owner will provide fishing rods). There are plenty of public footpaths close to the property and a short walk across the paddocks and woods leads to excellent country pubs. The Ashdown Forest also offers excellent walking. There are many NT places to visit in the area. London can be reached within 45 minutes by train via Wadhurst Station approximately 2 miles away. Shop ¼ mile.
