Nearby are the fishing port’s art galleries, pubs, restaurants, shops (especially for freshly caught fish) and beaches. Penzance (1 mile) is a pleasant walk along the seafront in one direction and Mousehole in the other. Visit Marazion and magical St Michael’s Mount rising from the sea like a fairytale castle. Ideally placed for St Ives, Lands End, Lamorna and the Minack Open Air Theatre cut into the rock face overlooking the sea. Shops 550 yards, pub 150 yards.
