Accommodation overview: This spacious former granary stands adjacent to the owner’s farmhouse and is surrounded by open farmland. It is a perfect holiday location for a special celebration, friends or family get-togethers, with its spacious living room, 9ft solid oak dining table and six beautifully furnished bedrooms. Sherburn is situated halfway between the market town of Malton and the seaside town of Scarborough, in the Vale of Pickering, an excellent area for walking with the Wolds Way running through the owner’s farmland. Scarborough boasts two beautiful beaches and the ruins of a 12th-century castle with its breathtaking views. It offers first class attractions such as the Sea Life Maritime Sanctuary, the Stephen Joseph Theatre - home of playwright Sir Alan Ayckbourne - and the refurbished Rotunda Museum. Music lovers can visit the Spa Complex, home of the only remaining seaside orchestra, or Peasholm Park which offers open air concerts and a variety of family entertainments.
