Accommodation overview: Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on Northumberland’s Heritage Coast, surrounded by miles of beautiful sandy beaches. Only 2 miles from the Holy Island of Lindisfarne - one of the oldest sites of Christianity in Britain and is often described as the ‘Jewel of the Northumberland Coast’.
With tranquil surroundings and spectacular views, these five exclusive properties (Refs MSJ, MUK, MUL, MUQ and MUR) are part of a sensitive farm steading conversion completed in 2009, all with tastefully elegant interiors and enclosed lawned gardens. They are the perfect location in which to sit and relax, whilst admiring the stunning scenery. Ideal for families or larger groups to holiday together, or for an individual get away as each cottage has been thoughtfully designed for maximum privacy and are sure to delight all age groups. Set within the grounds is a summer garden to enjoy the panoramic views and beautiful sunsets with the added benefit of a communal rural grass tennis court. Explore Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve with its nature trail and see a world of flowers and bird life. Cyclists and walkers can enjoy the many paths and tracks adjacent to the cottages. There is an endless choice of walks ranging from coastal tracks to the wild and rugged Cheviot Hills. For the golf enthusiast there are 24 courses in Northumberland, the closest being Goswick (6 miles), a links course, or Belford (6 miles), a parkland course. There is an excellent choice of eating places available locally, just 500 yards away is the Lindisfarne Hotel and the Barn at Beal (1 mile) with its Bird of Prey Centre. Edinburgh, Alnwick and Newcastle are an easy day’s outing. Shop and pubs 500 yards.
