A short walk away is the local station where the train can be caught to Plymouth. From the quay at Calstock there are many river cruises to take along the Tamar Estuary, and canoeing is popular. Drakewalls is an excellent base to explore the region from, both North and South Cornish and Devon coastlines are within 1 hour’s drive. Shop 200 yards, pub 1 mile.
