Formerly a cart lodge, it is attractively furnished with many original features, exposed beams and a superb galleried sitting area overlooking the living room. Set in the grounds of the owner’s 15th-century hall house, visitors can enjoy use of extensive gardens (except the owner’s private garden). Midway between Canterbury, with its magnificent cathedral and Dover with its fascinating castle (both 8 miles), this is an ideal holiday base. Folkestone 12 miles. Shops 1½ miles, village pub ½ mile.
