The lodge is located in an enviable position within the centre of the forest and benefits from having no neighbours in the surrounding area. Sitting in over an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens, which have been designed to encourage local wildlife (including rare dragonflies and many wild birds), the holiday property boasts a wonderful deer meadow to the rear, which is interspersed with trees and shrubs, whilst the garden provides many walkways leading to different planting schemes. The house has been decorated to a high standard with excellent finishes throughout, providing comfortable and bright interiors and every room possessing unspoilt views of the gardens and forest beyond. A games room offers numerous activities for all ages, including a pool table, table tennis and badminton. The area offers some of the finest walking and cycling routes in the country including Offa’s Dyke, Wye Valley Walk and Three Castles Walk, all with stunning scenery and ‘black and white’ villages en route.
