Accommodation overview: Nestling in the heart of the coastal resort of Charmouth, near Lyme Regis, on the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, this delightfully spacious adjoining holiday home for two or three families has been tastefully furnished and is in an excellent location to enjoy the best of west Dorset. Gather together in the large living room with marble fireplace, open fire and small pool/table tennis table or in the spacious kitchen/dining room with its large solid oak table and granite worktops. The home, which has been well furnished, has stripped pine floors and a light roomy feel to it and offers three double bedrooms, one twin, one adult bunk bedroom and a separate room with a day bed and truckle bed in it. One can wander into Charmouth or stroll down to the beach, 800 yards, and enjoy swimming, fishing, fossil hunting and beautiful scenic walks along the World Heritage Coast towards Lyme Regis or Bridport. The views are truly stunning over the whole of Lyme Bay. Lyme Regis is an enchanting seaside resort with its charming harbour, Cobb, sandy beach and shops is a must, or one can explore the coastal resorts stretching from Weymouth in the east to Bridport, Eype, Seatown, Seaton and Sidmouth in the west. Inland, historic houses, such as Forde Abbey and Gardens and Montacute House and Gardens, or days out at Exeter cathedral city, and the historic towns of Sherborne and Dorchester make for good visits and memories.
