Accommodation overview: Set next to a walled garden of 1.5 acres, this delightful traditional stone-built cottage was originally built to house the gardener for the 1000 acre estate surrounding a large Victorian mansion but has now been extended and extensively renovated to create a warm, elegant home in the country house style. Good choice of restaurants in the area. This charming cottage has its own pretty enclosed garden with barbecue and teak furniture, and guests may also use a picnic site (with pinic table) on the top of the hill behind the cottage with superb views over the valley. There is a ramp access and the spacious ground floor rooms have wide doorways. The interior design is very tasteful with comfortable furnishings and some lovely period furniture.
