Set next to the owners’ home, both offer very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. The little town of Bradford-on-Avon is less than a mile, with walks along the canal to the picturesque gorge at Avoncliff, and there are many National Trust properties in the area. Many popular tourist attractions, outings and facilities are within about an hour of easy driving from the farm (including Bristol and Bath). Longleat is a very popular attraction - taking a couple of days to view all the exhibits. Ancient monuments such as Avebury Stone Circle, Stonehenge, Silbury Hill, The White Horses and more are nearby. Walking enthusiasts can enjoy The Ridgeway Path - many miles of ancient footpaths, along with the Kennet and Avon canal path. Food connoisseurs will not be disappointed either with an abundance of top hotel-restaurants, gourmet pubs, pub-grub and tasty take-away ventures. Golfers, fishermen and gardeners all have a great deal to keep them interested in this part of England. On return to Parsonage Farm after a hard day sightseeing, relax in the warm barn conversion cottages with their oak features and where lots of natural light floods in.
