Accommodation overview: In a tranquil setting and surrounded by open countryside and woodland, this secluded detached Victorian house enjoys delightful views over a lake and pastureland. The charming small town of Midhurst as well as Billingshurst and Haslemere are all within 20 minutes’ drive and have good restaurants and more extensive shopping. Motor racing and horse racing are nearby at Goodwood. Leornardslee and West Dean Gardens, Parham House, the Weald and Downland museum and the South Downs themselves are all close. Chichester (½ hour) has its ancient cathedral, festival theatre, Roman ruins, harbour tours and tearooms. At Arundel the castle and Wildfowl Trust are popular.
