Accommodation overview: Nestled in the heart of the village of Long Compton, Quince Cottage is a typical Cotswolds labourer’s cottage, over 200 years old and built from local stone with a steeply pitched thatch roof. The middle one of a row, the holiday cottage is adjacent to the owner’s home, it has a tiny garden at the front and a larger one to the rear, with seats and bench swing. Shop 100 yards, excellent pub 330 yards. Living/dining room with electric ‘wood burner’ in inglenook fireplace, low beams and exposed stone walls. Farmhouse-style fitted kitchen with electric Rangemaster (for cooking), linoleum floor and door to garden. Bathroom with over-bath shower, toilet and linoleum floor. First floor: Double bedroom.
