A ½-hour walk along the towpath or short drive in the car leads to Kidlington, which, recognised as the ‘largest village in England’, caters for every need - having several supermarkets, post office, chemists, launderette and various pubs and cafés. There is a nearby Park and Ride service into the city of Oxford as well as a regular bus service from the village. The M40 motorway is easily reached, connecting to either London or Birmingham in about 1 hour.
