Accommodation overview: Thoughtfully converted to a high standard, this stunning, thatched 17th-century barn has a plethora of beams and vaulted entrance hall. There is easy access to Ashford, from where the Eurotunnel can be taken to enjoy lunch or dinner in either Paris or Brussels.
One of England’s most venerable cities, Canterbury has much to offer, with many shops, restaurants and theatres. A former church, now called The Caterbury Tales has guided tours which lead through galleries and recount Chaucer’s tales. Shops and pub 1 mile.
