Whilst enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside, the house is easily accessible being only 2 miles off the main A9 road north and 12 miles from the bustling, vibrant city of Inverness which offers an airport, theatres, cinema, leisure facilities and an excellent choice of shops and restaurants. The village shop and pub are 2 miles from the house. To the east lie the quaint fishing villages and sandy beaches of the Black Isle, to the west the rugged scenery and magnificent mountains of Wester Ross, to the north John O'Groats and the isolation of Caithness and to the south the attractions of Loch Ness and the Great Glen making this the perfect base for exploring all the beauties of the Highlands. Accommodation overview: In a beautiful setting on the Eastern shore of Loch Fyne, this lovely house offers complete seclusion in large private grounds amidst wonderful Highland scenery. The lawn leads directly to the lochside with tremendous views down Loch Fyne towards Arran in the distance and there are a number of good walks along the shore and through the woods behind the house. Guests with appropriate experience can have use of a motorboat during the summer months and an indoor heated swimming pool all year round. This is an ideal base for a large group of family or friends with plenty to do on the doorstep and the beautiful county of Argyll to explore. Glasgow Airport is less than 2 hours drive. There is an indoor heated swimming pool (30'x15') plus sauna and shower. The pool area is surrounded by double glazed doors looking on to the terrace and garden. The large games room has a pool table, table tennis and a selection of indoor and outdoor games. From 31st March to Nov 3rd, a motorboat is provided which can be used from the private pier (weather permitting and subject to suitable experience). Private slipway and mooring facilities are also available. On the large lawn, there is a children's swing, and plenty of room for children to play and enjoy their bikes. You can fish from the shore or from the motorboat. There is a sailing school at Tighnabruaich. The interior of the house is very spacious, with comfortable homely furnishings.
