This former net factory supplied fishing nets for the herring industry and was skilfully renovated by the architect owners to offer an exceptional and unique holiday home which has featured on television. The impressive interior has a vast open plan living area, one wall is entirely glazed with triple patio doors opening onto a sun terrace overlooking the beach and enjoying magnificent uninterrupted views across the sea and East coastline. Accessed by 1/2 mile of private road from the main West Coast route south of Oban (4 miles away), this is an ideal peaceful location yet within easy reach of many activities and places of interest. Oban offers trips to the islands, a distillery, cinema and sports centre as well as extensive shopping. Sailing, diving, horse-riding, water sports, golf and tennis can all be arranged. Guests staying at Glenfeochan enjoy free fishing for sea trout, brownies and possibly even a salmon on the River Nell. Loch fishing can also be arranged. Shops 4 miles. Good choice of restaurants in the area. This charming cottage has its own pretty enclosed garden with barbecue and teak furniture, and guests may also use a picnic site (with pinic table) on the top of the hill behind the cottage with superb views over the valley.
