Oak beamed and equipped to very high standards their tasteful comfortable furnishings and open log fireplaces make them cosy and idyllic year round holiday retreats. Visitors are welcomed with fine wine produced locally at Moniack Castle winery. The cottages are perfectly placed for exploring the Highlands. There are castles and distilleries close by and easy touring to the Isle of Skye the magnificent west coast Ben Nevis Aviemore the Cairngorm ski slopes and the splendid Orkney Isles. Just 9 miles along the scenic Loch Ness road is Inverness – the lively and attractive 'capital' of the Highlands – with leisure centre cinemas excellent shops restaurants aqua dome and riverside theatre. Explore the charming coastal villages visit historic Culloden battlefield or just relax and watch for the legendary monster to appear (binoculars provided!). There is also free fishing on Loch Ness and golf pony trekking and water sports are close by. Restaurant and pub 200 yards. Shops 4 miles.

"A wonderful cottage with luxurious touches the owners have thought of everything you might need - all you have to do is turn up! We can recommend the cable cars at the Nevis Range the Jacobite cruise on Loch Ness to stunning Urquart Castle and pretty Fort Augustus with its series of locks. We met the holiday-makers in the cottage next door and like us they keep coming back to Loch Ness Cottages - they have to be the very best cottages Hoseasons offer in Scotland. Just keep an eye out for the red deer in your garden if you are an early riser - magical!"
