Nestling on a peaceful upland farm and on the edge of a forest ideal for cycling and walking from the doorstep these beautiful barn conversions have been sensitively and creatively renovated. Boasting individual gardens and separate access they sit beside the owners' 16th century farmhouse. Pretty East Neuk fishing villages the Scone Palace St Andrews Falkland Palace (7 miles) RSPB Loch Leven and Perth (15 miles) are all in easy reach. Golf riding and fishing are nearby; pubs and shops in Auchtermuchty 2 miles.

"I cannot recommend The Old Cart House enough. Kate really is a class act and has put together a very high quality accommodation which was a pleasure. Being a self-catering novice I really didn't know what to expect and brought quite a lot that really wasn't necessary. The quality and specification of the accommodation is very high and it is matched by the truly wonderful setting. All around were rabbit’s sheep deer and beautiful countryside. Daisy my very well-behaved King Charles Cavalier had a lovely time and was made to feel very welcome. I must be honest and say that the weather wasn’t up to much but what do you expect from a British summer? Still it didn’t put us off with days out and plenty of walks in the lovely forests. I would absolutely love to go back again possibly even this Autumn. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay."
