Enjoying a delightful position above the village of Peak Forest, this attractive cottage has stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Adjoining the owners’ property, it has been furnished to a high standard and is heavily beamed inside. This is the perfect base from which to explore the Peak District either by foot, car or even horse with stabling available on site. Excellent walking can be found on the doorstep, whilst the spa town of Buxton lies 6 miles distant. Within 15 miles lies the stunning Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and closer still, the caves at Castleton, Edale and the plague village of Eyam. Shop 1/2 mile, pub less than 1 mile. Open-plan living/dining room with electric cast-iron ‘wood burner’ and stone floor. Farmhouse-style kitchen area with breakfast bar and stone floor. Bathroom with shower attachment and toilet. First floor: Double bedroom. Most rooms heavily beamed.
