Brancaster Staithe offers excellent sailing opportunities and Bircham windmill is well worth a visit to view an excellent example of a restored, working windmill with tea shop and children’s play area.
Bustling Burnham Market (12 miles) has many restaurants, inns, cafes and shops. The Palladian mansions of Houghton Hall and Holkham Hall and the historic ruins of Walsingham Shrine and Abbey, Castle Acre Priory and Abbey, are all within easy driving distance.
