Set in one of the prettiest villages in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, this 16th-century character cottage has beautiful gardens and makes an idyllic location for a holiday at any time of year. A meandering river runs through the village itself and the local inn with restaurant makes the perfect place for an evening meal. A 30-minute drive through stunning countryside leads to the historic town of Whitby, famed for the legend of Dracula. Easy access to York, Thirsk, Malton, Pickering and Goathland - where the popular TV series Heartbeat is filmed. Scarborough 20 miles, York 32 miles. Shops 300 yards, pub in village.
