Built in the 1850s and surrounded by countryside, this lovely holiday property has been tastefully converted from an old barn, retaining lots of character, exposed stone, beams and modern home comforts. It lies just 3 miles from Alton Towers and The Rambler’s Retreat at Dimmingsdale, with walks and a visitors’ centre. For stately homes and stunning scenery visit Ilam Park Estate, Sudbury Hall, Tissington and Chatsworth. The Churnet Valley Railway is also close by. Visit the old market town of Leek for antiques and cafés, and Stoke for its potteries. Shops 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Living room with solid oak floor and exposed stone walls.
