This charming wing of the owner’s gracious country house enjoys a splendid landscaped walled garden and shared 2-acre lawned grounds. Steeped in history, this lovely flint-built holiday dwelling was commissioned for the mayor of Portsmouth in 1887. A great base to explore Portsmouth, Chichester or Winchester. Enjoy scenic walks along the South Downs National Park, Meon Valley or The New Forest. NT homes and gardens abound. Shop and pub 1 mile. Living room with electric ‘coal-effect’ fire. Dining room/sun room. Large kitchen. Steep, narrow stairs to first floor: Two double bedrooms, one with shower cubicle and leading to twin bedroom (for +2 children).
