A haven of peaceful luxury at the lovely northern crest of the Forest of Bowland these two contemporary barn conversions enjoy breathtaking panoramic views towards both the Lake District fells and the mountains of Ingleborough and Whernside – the highest of the Yorkshire Dales' famous Three Peaks. Each barn boasts a spacious and beautifully furnished interior as well as its own individual patio and garden. Bookable as completely self contained properties or as one large property sleeping up to 14 persons they are set amidst meadows 300 yards from the owners' family farmhouse and dairy buildings and offer a rural idyll where lambs gambol in the spring. The glorious surrounding landscape makes delightful walking and cycling country – quiet lanes lead to pretty villages and there are five good dining pubs within 3 miles. Visitors will find a host of activities and attractions to suit every taste within easy reach. Kirkby Lonsdale's fine range of quality shops and Ingleton's famous waterfall walks and caves are all 8 miles distant and Kendal is an easy trip of about 20 miles. Beatrix Potter's home (N.T.) in the Lake District and Lake Windermere's cruises and excellent water sports opportunities are less than an hour's drive. Golf and horse riding can be enjoyed nearby and village shops and pubs are 2 miles.
