Right on the banks of the River Wye - overlooking Tintern Abbey - stands this comfortable, detached stone-built holiday cottage. It has its own terrace adjacent to the river (with railings, but children beware!) and a small lawned area with barbecue. Many local pubs offer home-made food. The beautiful surrounding countryside is excellent for walkers and dog owners alike, with Offa’s Dyke and the Brecon Beacons also within easy reach. Local fishing available. There are eleven golf clubs and sixteen 18-hole courses 20 miles from the property (one was the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup). Chepstow 5 miles, Monmouth 10 miles. Shops 150 yards, pub 100 yards. Spacious, L-shaped sitting-room with open fire, exposed beams, stone walls and rugs on tiled floor. Dining room. Spacious, well-equipped kitchen with breakfast area. First floor: Beamed double bedroom. Beamed twin bedroom. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.
