Set on the owners’ smallholding which includes goats, guinea fowl, ducks and geese as well as stables, this pretty, single-storey barn conversion has been sympathetically converted to a high standard. Adjoining the owners’ home, the cottage boasts breathtaking views across the valley and the surrounding countryside. Perfectly located, it is the ideal holiday base to explore the many attractions of the surrounding areas, including the Peak District National Park. Last of the Summer Wine is filmed here and Where the Heart Is was filmed in the adjacent Colne Valley. Foxes Den is just 3 miles from the heart of Holmfirth with restaurants, tea rooms, craft shops and pubs. An ideal base with excellent walks from the door and around many reservoirs in the area.
