The cottage stands as one of row of four with a lovely enclosed garden filled with roses and has lots of period character. Wonderful country walks from the door include the Battlefields Trail and Jurassic Way. Oxford, Blenheim Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and Althorp are within a 40-minute drive, as are the Royal Agricultural Showground and NEC at Birmingham. Sulgrave Manor, the ancestral home of George Washington’s family, Silverstone and Towcester racecourse are close by, as well as Bicester Designer Retail Village and many NT properties. The Fairport Convention Cropredy Festival is in August. Shops/pubs nearby (full range in Banbury, 5 miles). Pub in village serving food.
