Ideal for both golfers and hikers, it overlooks the beautiful 18-hole golf course. Guests can pay to use the hotel golf course and leisure facilities which include a pool, gym, tennis court and a spa. Built around 1780, this lovely detached property has stunning views across to Manchester, Gibhill Farm’s back gate is the start of the Peak District National Park. It is also on the doorstep of the lovely towns and villages of Cheshire with their wide range of high quality pubs and restaurants. Bollington with its restaurants, pubs and shops is just 3 miles away. Walking in the wilds of the Peak District or along the canal with its colourful barges is a must. Enjoy cycling along the traffic free Middlewood Way (a converted railway track). Macclesfield Forest and picnic park is 7 miles, Alderley Edge with its wonderful woodland walks is only 8 miles. Buxton, with its opera house, Pavilion Gardens, antiques and craft fairs, is well worth a visit. Vist Bakewell and Chatsworth House. So much to offer in such a great area. Shop 3 miles.
