Walks can be taken from the doorstep, and stabling is available (by prior arrangement and at cost with the owner). The village of Great Somerford is on the northern borders of Wiltshire and its proximity to the M4 makes it an ideal base from which to explore many pretty villages. Only 4 miles to the historic town of Malmesbury, with its 11th-century abbey and gardens. Also nearby are 600 acres of woodland trails and Highgrove House. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile. Living room with woodburning stove, patio doors, double sofa bed (for alternative sleeping) and kitchen area.
